Your site helped me have a pen pal that is true beyond the stereo type, he is a gentleman with structure, and does not look at the outside first to make his impressions of people. Hello all,Im new to this and don't use credit cards on a computer so soon to be on the main line soon.Hope ever one has a safe and Happy New Year.Well its alot of things i injoy liven in the country but what im into is trail riden and camping out and cooking over a fire.Im more into the westurn life style where i can get away and injoy hearen the wildlife and only light's i want to see at night when im campen is the shinen stars and the bright moon and a nice barn fire.Life is to short to not injoy happeness and the great out doors.

I would like to first of all compliment HLC for the quality of site they maintain. I have met some wonderful folks that will be life time friends and also met someone that I would like to spend the rest of my life with.

Hope you all have your dream come true from God's gift. I pray for you all. I didn't find a harmony man that I have been dream as I wish for over 20 years. I'm 53 (December 13). That is my chance to have a horse that I adore so much ever. I've been on with the horse lovers from the last 2 years ago. I thank God that I found it. I am still waiting for a call from God's gift. THE FARM CHORES
A little boy comes down to breakfast. Since they live on a farm, his mother asks if he had done his chores.
"Not yet," said the little boy.
His mother tells him no breakfast until he does his chores.
Well, he's a little upset, so he goes to feed the chickens, and he kicks a chicken.
He goes to feed the cows, and he kicks a cow.
He goes to feed the pigs, and he kicks a pig.
He goes back in for breakfast and his mother gives him a bowl of dry cereal.
"How come I don't get any eggs and bacon? Why don't I have any milk in my cereal?" he asks.
"Well," his mother says, "I saw you kick a chicken, so you don't get any eggs for a week. I saw you kick the pig, so you don't get any bacon for a week either. I also saw you kick the cow, so for a week you aren't getting any milk."
Just then, his father comes down for breakfast and kicks the cat halfway across the kitchen.
The little boy looks up at his mother with a smile, and says:
"Are you going to tell him, or should I?"

Hi Just to let you know that this is a very nice site. I joined a few months ago and sent out several emails and had a some responses. While looking for another place to rent i met a wonderful woman here with in 4 miles of me. She has 2 childern and 2 horses. The day before Valentines i went shopping for a Valentines card to give to her. I gave her a 2 year old registered paint stud colt for a valentines presesnt after i had asked her to be my girlfriend and she said yes. We are in the process of moving together.
My message to every one never turn down a chance to meet some one or be afraid to put a foot forward and ask the question. I feel this is a wonderful start to a new life. We have alot in common with each other.

My only real accomplishment and success in life to date is my kids and grandkids! I'm the proud Dad of 3 gorgeous daughters and a standout son, the father in law of an outstanding young man married to my oldest daughter, and the proud Grandpa of 3 spectacular grandkids-1 grand daughter and 2 grandsons. Oh, I have had a pretty good run professionally, made a lot of $$ at times, owned a few companies, run a few more, accumulated a lot of "stuff", some titles, etc. But, except for still having great friends, past great partners & teachers & clients through the years, and all the great experiences that go along with a busy life, my kids and grandkids are my greatest source of price--and always will be. That's my success story....

He is the needle in the haystack. Not brass or burnt. Truthful and steadfast for a love that will last a lifetime. Hi guys and gals! Just an update, we wrote a success story on 12-2-02, wanted to let you know that things are still going strong and love grows stronger every day! Have since moved to Montana and bought a small pace together and are living the dream. Hoping to find a nice guy for my girlfriend on here! What is twenty dollars ? Its what it cost me to find out about a girl . When I read her profile something told me to take a chance . Her profile had no picture as did mine . If you let this stand in your way it could cost you what I have found . After ten years in a marriage that had little common ground , I knew that i needed someone with similar interests . I asked for a picture after talking to her for a few days . She sent me a picture , and to my surprise she was very beautiful . I had already found that she was very intelligent and had a good sense of humor . We have differences but that makes each of us unique . All i can say is I have found someone who i like being with , even if its doing nothing . She gives me a butterfly feeling that i anot sure i have ever had . Dear HLC,
We just wanted to thank you folks for bringing two soul mates together. At opposite ends of the country we never would have found each other without you! Our profiles looked like a good match so we started e-mailing, and then talking on the phone. We met in person last weekend and had a fabulous time. i hav had a lot of fun as 9 months a go i meet a lady called april here in taree nsw were we hit it of we r now expectin our first child but the sad thing is we broke up a month a go ,she started seein anouther bloke an i hav been left heart broken an single again the good news is we remain friends for our baby an i remain as a father to our child also i hav been given a job as a country music broadcarster on 103.3 narlini so im a lot happy with my self an everyone around me.from aussiebullrider

i have a story to tell symilare than that anonymouse girl on that success storrys here,
i also met true the internet, the what i dought most hansom cowboy/trucker in my live ,i drove 3days and 2 nights to meet that cowboy once, we clicked and i lived with him 8 monts of my live i was realy happy with him and he also with me as he said,we fall for each other. i worked real hard on the farm and arround the home, and got realy to enjoy it and he gave me everything i wanted ,than a time came and he wanted to sale his home and planed to build a new one ,all the sorten im not wellcome there anymore .so me and my anymals had to leave in a 2 weeks notes, that broke my heart, becouse im to til the day not over it, i still love that cowboy and dont know to the day , what have i done wrong ,but i have lerned from it . take your time be friends first and dont move in with some one you think is your friend,for such a short time , yes i have forgiving him but he is my friend forever inside my hearth.

This has been the most fantastic ride of all time,call it the Minnesota Alaska connection. See found my profile ,and we chatted for a month,see flew in for a meeting,it was love at first site,almost unreal how everything we like,thing,and like to do are the same.so we are now making plans for the final ride together,it should be long and breath taking.See all of you at the top of the moutain.

Brian and I met last July. I had seen an ad for your site in one of my horse magazines, browsed the personals, saw his ad and joined to write to him. He wrote back, we rode together all summer and fall and this Valentine's Day he bought me an engagement ring. I have never been happier in my life and I have told all my single horse riding buddies about your site. Now, Please remove me from your mailing list!!!!!

I had been 20 years since I had to date so when I read about HLC I thougt I would try it as I didn't go into bar scenes and didn't know how to meet someone with the same interest as I. I had a great time writing to several ladies and most wrote back to me. I finally got in touch with one not too far away and we have been dating and haveing a great time. Your site does a fantastic job of matching people with common interests. I heard from so many wonderful ladies on this site, but one very special lady.
I wasn't a believer in these match sites. I am now! She is from Ill., via Florida, and roots to South Dakota.
This coming Saturday, she will arrive at my ranch for her second, and permanent visit. I am amazed! She is amazing! There is a barn dance in our future; a very special barn dance with friends, family, and horses. Lots of horses! Thanks horselovers. Miracles do happen, and dreams do come true.

This is a success story and then turned into a sad story, but I want to put it out to the readers so they won't make the same mistake. I met this man on HLC and we both fell madly in love with each other. He lived 1200 miles away, though. I flew to see him in Dec. and we then made plans to spend the rest of our lives together. I picked up my whole life and went to him. We were together six months and I have never been happier in my life. But then, he found that there was something I hadn't told him, which had nothing to do with us, and he just turned me away. Now I'm back where I came from, no home now, and heartbroken. Keep nothing from anyone, no matter how you feel about it, you don't know how they will feel. He couldn't find it in his heart to forgive me because he said I broke his trust.

Just before my subscription expired, I have been in contact with a great friend. We recently decided to meet after a long time of corresponding and talking. Even though we both live in opposite ends of the U.S. it didn't stop us from taking that chance. You may never know who you might meet, so just follow your heart. Good luck to everyone.

Howdy Horselovers! We just wanted to tip our hat to you in thanks. If not for your site, I don't believe my sweetie and I would have ever found each other..Here's our story: Last June, I got a real nice e-mail from the nicest guy who happened to live 1200 miles away in a different state. He was on the internet, looking for a brood mare, and came across your site as a horse-related link. At first, he didn't even realize it was a singles site! He came across my profile and says that he felt some kind of a connection right away. He hesitated to write, since he was 53, and I was 43, and thought he was "too old" for me :~) When he did eventually write, we started chatting back and forth, first through e-mails, then got braver and made phone calls, and eventually we met in person. From the first time we met, we have gotten closer and closer and get along great. We love to do the same things, fishing, riding, and playing with the horses, and enjoying road trips in the truck, just exploring and seeing the beautiful countryside around us. I moved up here recently to this beautiful north country to be closer to my sweetie, and we are enjoying each other's company, and getting to know each other better. Just wanted to encourage all your readers to not give up, and if you're hesitating to write someone for whatever reason, go ahead and bite the bullet, and do it...You never know what happiness it could bring! Was nice also to get to know each other as friends first before we met. Well, hope you all had a Happy Holiday. What was initially somewhat of a joke, my dad had seen your advertisement in Western Horseman... and well, pretty soon I start hearing about some woman from Arizona that he met on Horse Lover's Connection.
